Three delightful and stylish holiday apartments on Ameland
In the picturesque village of Hollum at Zuiderlaan 11 you will find the recently restored building “De Eerste Stuiver”. This former pub owes its name to the sailors who arrived at Ameland. It was the first pub they met on the way home where they could quench their thirst and thus spend their first, just-earned penny, “stuiver” in Dutch.
Location
The Eerste Stuiver building is located in the quiet part of Hollum, a protected village view, on a leafy alley near the monumental Reformed church. You imagine yourself a few centuries back in time. You are within walking distance of both the North Sea beach and the Wadden Sea. You are also close to the pleasant center of Hollum with its shops, cafés and restaurants.
